If it’s healthy hair, skin and nails you want to achieve, maybe it’s time to adopt these 5 superfoods to your diet.

Blueberries

Blueberries, with their antioxidant properties, help clear out your digestive system from harmful toxins. Mix some frozen blueberries into your smoothies or simply have some fresh ones for a snack. These little delights will detoxify your body and leave your palate satisfied.

Almonds

Raw almonds serve to support collagen production, which aids the production of healthy and rejuvenated skin. If you’re looking to add almonds to your diet, try incorporating them in your morning granola or instead make a versatile almond sauce to go along with your soba noodles.

Salmon

The omega-3 fatty acids found in salmon help hydrate the skin and strengthen the hair. Salmon also contains Vitamin B-12 which aids in nail strength. Make sure to incorporate salmon into your diet at least twice a week to reap its maximum benefits!

Coconut oil

Coconut oil is packed with healthy fats such as vitamins E and K and minerals. Swap out vegetable oil for coconut oil to stimulate hair growth and achieved, flawless, moisturised skin.

Oats

Oats were used by the Egyptians and Arabs to achieve beautiful skin back in the day. We might have lots to learn from them after all. Apart from being a superfood, oats help reduce acne, treat dandruff and hair loss and strengthen nails. Add overnight oats to your breakfast plan or alternatively bath in them, like the olden days!

N.B. If your diet is already rich in these superfoods, why not get some extra help from HealthAid’s own HairSkiNail Tablets 30’s Tablets?
